Câu hỏi thường đảo chủ ngữ và một trợ động từ. Câu hỏi yes/no bắt đầu bằng trợ động từ (Do/Are/Have/Will). Câu hỏi Wh- thêm từ để hỏi (what, where, when, why, how). Câu hỏi đuôi thêm phần kiểm chứng ngắn ở cuối (…, don’t you?). Câu hỏi gián tiếp lồng trong câu giữ trật tự từ như câu trần thuật.
Questions usually invert the subject and an auxiliary. Yes/no questions start with an auxiliary (Do/Are/Have/Will). Wh- questions add a question word (what, where, when, why, how). Tag questions add a short check at the end (…, don’t you?). Indirect questions embedded in a sentence keep normal statement word order.
