Giải thích

Liên từ đẳng lập (and, but, or, so, for, yet) nối các thành phần ngang hàng. Liên từ phụ thuộc (because, although, while, since, so that, unless) mở đầu mệnh đề phụ chỉ lý do, tương phản, thời gian, mục đích hoặc điều kiện. Cặp tương liên (both…and, either…or, not only…but also) cân bằng hai thành phần song song.

Coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or, so, for, yet) join equal grammatical parts. Subordinating conjunctions (because, although, while, since, so that, unless) introduce a dependent clause showing reason, contrast, time, purpose or condition. Correlative pairs (both…and, either…or, not only…but also) balance two parallel elements.
